SL Hire is a leading concrete finishing company based in Far North Queensland. We utilize state-of-the-art laser-guided screed technology to produce superior results in concrete finishes.
Our owner and operator, Stephen Wollschlager, has over 15 years of Laser Screed experience and has been assisting concretors in North Queensland, Central Queensland, and Northern Territory with placing and finishing concrete for over 25 years.

Place and Finish of Concrete
We specialise in flat floors to FF and FL numbers. Placing concrete and finishing in challenging conditions all year round, from wharfs to large tanks, to Bunnings floors.

The S-240 Laser Screed is a reliable machine that delivers high-quality flooring. It’s well-suited for outdoor work such as car parks, hard stands, and warehouse floors.

Laser Screed Technology
We use Somero laser screeds to screed our concrete to help achieve our FF and FL numbers. We utilise a 3D system which is fitted to our laser screeds, supporting the placement of concrete for outside areas such as hard stands and car parks.
Ride-On Trowel Machine
We have a fleet of ride-on trowelling machines for breaking the slab, panning machines and finishing machines fitted with plastic blades if required.
